We invited agents across the Northwest to see the extensive remodeling works of 3 Barrington Road at the end of last year, with one lucky guest being gifted an electric bicycle which echoes the sustainability and wellness ethos of the building.
After launching virtually in 2020 during the height of Lockdown, in November 2021 Property Agents were at last given the chance to officially tour the building. Agents across the region were invited to tour 3 Barrington Road’s newly refurbished office building, with lunch and drinks taking place afterwards at local foodie hotspot Altrincham Market, just around the corner.
Every Agent in attendance was entered into a prize-draw to win a PURE Electric Bicycle, worth £1,000. David Thwaites of Thwaites Real Estate was the lucky winner of said electric bike.
James Dickinson of Canning O’Neill, part of our lettings team, said, “We are thrilled to have finally been able to show everyone around this excellent workspace offering, unlike any other we have seen in Altrincham. The refurbishment has given the building a new lease of life, bringing in more light and creating a modern, high-end reception with flexible spaces for businesses to make their own.”
Charlie Williams of Williams Sillitoe said, “Giving away an electric bike was something that was really in line with the building’s ethos of wellbeing and sustainability. The newly remodelled building has been awarded BREEAM certification, and offers tenants an abundance of bicycle storage, Electric Vehicle charging points, and Car-share parking bays, to encourage a sustainable lifestyle.”
“Obviously it’s great to win this fantastic prize. It was great to be shown 3 Barrington Road now that it’s been fully remodelled and good to see the teams commitment to sustainability.”
Said David Thwaites of Thwaites Real Estate.
3 Barrington Road’s transformation, led by architects Pozzoni and delivered by ADT Workplace, has seen our prominent 30,000 sq ft building remodeled into bright, modern workspace with a brand-new glazed entrance and stunning reception area.
“As a result of Covid-19, people’s perception of what the workplace should look like has changed. We’re getting plenty of enquiries from businesses interested in down-sizing their office space to accommodate a more agile working environment,” says James Dickinson, Director at Canning O’Neill. “And we’re also speaking to companies who want to take larger space, to accommodate larger desks and conferencing spaces.”
